Bugs, Bugs, Bugs
Insects are everywhere and in this class taught by our Urban Ecologist, we'll learn about the ones that make the zoo home. We'll collect insects from various habitats around the zoo. We'll sort the collections and try to identify the species. We'll also plant a helpful insect garden right in the zoo to attract pollinating insects. Each participant will take home their own insect trap to collect and observe the ones they see in their neighborhoods.
