Queens Zoo birthday parties combine fun activities, arts and crafts, a live animal encounter in the party room, and visits to exhibits around the zoo - with your choice of a fun party theme. Parties are held in our spacious party room, located in the Wild Room near the Sea Lion exhibit. A zoo educator will be the host of the party and take care of all your party needs.

All party packages include invitations for the guests, goody bags for the children, a craft project during the party, an animal encounter in the party room, a present for the birthday child, as well as zoo admission. You supply the food, cake, juice, paper goods, and utensils. There is refrigeration available.

Choose from one of our age-appropriate, two-hour party themes:

Domestic Animal Discoveries

(Ages 3–6)

Stroll over to the farm to visit our llamas, goats, and more at our petting zoo. Young partygoers will feed our domestic animals and meet a special animal guest.

Paws, Claws and Jaws

(Ages 5–7)

Discover some of North America’s most spectacular wildlife from pumas to bison in this birthday party on the Zoo’s “wild” side. Children will find out about animal habits and habitats and meet a special animal guest.

For children above the age of 7, please contact 800-433-4149 to discuss birthday party options.
